Prodigal Son Engages

Well who would have thought I was going to be rewarded for my half ass job? It is nice to know that someone cares enough for the effort given but I really felt awkward accepting the praise and the vacation, honestly it felt like hush money and pink slip to me, but I will stick to my training and for now I have to be loyal to my employer. The fantastic thing is that due to the 'cart blanche' ticket that he gave me I can actually go home and find out why I have been out of touch with them for over a year now. Just that when it seems like I'm ready to get a good foothold of my life and the events surrounding it something new pops up. What a crazy dream last night! Dragons and ogres and orcs and goblins and shadowy spooky creatures, OH MY! Sounds like a children's book gone horribly wrong, where Hansel and Gretel don't get away from the wicked witch. The other thing is, I never knew there to exist our known geographical cultures then as it is now, so how were they Chinese or should I be politically correct and say Asians? That dream was a little disconcerting due to it showing us giving yet another poor performance, not good! Not only that there is a colleague at arms that has a little of a heavy hand by the name of Beta, he needs to be kept an eye on, he might end up causing more damage than the enemy. I think the team has great potential, but the leadership seems lacking. We're totally disorganized and we head into the situation head first without thought of self preservation, which would not be bad if there was at least someone guiding the group and making intelligent decisions. Not sure how the U.N. Force would take my criticism, but someone needs to make them aware of teamwork and quick. Anyways right now it's difficult enough as it is since my communication with that team is limited to Justin and Sebastian. The other problem I foresee is that since I'm not part of the group I may have to make arrangements to go to China myself, which I guess it's ok since I do need to make preparations, and urgent ones at that. Well at least one good thing will come out of this, I'll get exposure to the possibility of getting more firsthand knowledge of my discipline and maybe coming away with a few boons, maybe. Hopefully I can still have time to visit home, that is becoming a concern to me, it's been much longer than last time and my orders are getting old, I have found out all I can and positioned myself as I needed to, so I need to know what my next move is supposed to be. I like with everything else will place my personal log in an independent hard drive isolated of any other connections with the hopes to someday be able to hand in my detailed reports to my commander. I'm glad I'm a mage, because it's taken a degree of 'magic' to be able to still maintain my sanity with all the craziness that's developing, lol. nonetheless, I will maintain the course and continue on my previous orders as long as I can and continue to write my reports. Now to go conquer a dragon and go home, let's hope it's in that order.

Prodigal Son Emerges

Hard to say what I think about the U.N. Forces and their work, but one thing is for sure they have the right mind frame. Their heart is in the right place too although I may not agree with them all the time either. I on the other hand am interested to see how I'll fit into this group if ever. At the moment my employment is for Garrison Enterprises and although in this last mission there are some dubious questions and concerns I have, I prefered to let down Ultra Major easily and still remain under the Garrison Flag for the time being. This last set of events have left a bad taste in my mouth as I am sure it has for everyone else, regardless of political believes, but a maniacal megalomaniac consumed with utter distruction and reshaping of the world under their twisted image will do that to you. Unfortunately the only thing I have to go by is what I have recently experienced concerning Dr. Fright, which isn't much and what little it is isn't great news either. I know he's smart and tactful, very dangerous combinations to start with. Has an aptitude for technology that allowed for him to circumvent all modern tech with low end electronics to create a device that would rally and coordinate the satellite systems. Always one step ahead it is difficult to determine what he's really about. At the final stages he was already at the Garrison International Communications complex finishing whatever sequence he was imputting into the computer systems and we yet have no idea as to what for. What is clear is that his plans B,C, D, E, F...etc are better prepared than ours, almost as though he's in our heads somehow. Ok so he couldn't link and control the satellites, big deal, he gathered 19 of the most nortorious criminals and banded to form a criminal conglomarate that we are sure to here from often and frequently. Had I been who I used to be he would not have gotten away without some revenge being extracted, damn I hate being made a fool! Just more questions than answers right now, too many! Well all I can do now is just sit and wait, ever so vigilant, sooner or later he's got to make a mistake and I'll be there to catch him, he'd better pray that the rest of the team is there and I'm not alone with him. Nothing worse than to go head to head with an enemy who's prepared unfortunately for him so am I.

Commisar's log

I have arrived in the U.S. of A . and have met a few of my teammates from this U.N.Force:Alpha. I don't know how I will fit in on a team with such liberals ideals, I am a communist and proud of it! Communism is the only way a government can maintain a foothold on it's people and ultimately protecting them from themselves. Crime is running rampant, prostitution & drug trafficking are staples in this country. A sterner hand(an iron fist) is needed in a extreme circumstance such as this. Perhaps I shall seek out like-minded individuals and educate the masses on the greatness of the teachings of Marx, Lenin & Stalin.
A team of terrorists attacked an amerikan airport, unfortunately some innocents were killed but in the end we caught 3 of the terrorists. I believe they were called the D.E.B.T. I was in the process of interrogating 1 of them when my teammates softness and lack of dedication to getting the job done came bursting through. They were not fond of my "interrogation methods" I doubt if they have intestinal fortitude to see a job through till it's bitter conclusion. I thought we were supposed to stop terrorism, not wait for it to strike again & claim more innocent lives???

Mission Log #3: The Return of Dr Fright !

This particular case has a very personal interest for me. Thirty years ago when I was "activated" for the first time. Dr. Fright is by far one of the most cunning and mega maniacal villains I have ever faced. He is a master manipulator and criminal genius. The thing about it. He was supposed to have been executed over a year ago. I've heard of stories from other heroes both past and present about villains who have returned from the brink of death. Chasms, explosions, falling to their death with no hope of survival. But he was actually executed in a chair a year ago. Immortality, resistance to energy, the ability to feign death ? How. Or could this be a copy cat who likened the fact that Fright was this idol to them that had to be worshipped?

He started off by having low rent thugs steal electronics from different warehouses. It went on for weeks. Until Justin Credible happened to catch wind of something Shady. It was that "Fit the talent to the task" comment that tipped me off. He stole some of his most recent electronics from Garrison Enterprises. What was he up to ? Fright has always had a thing for machines and technology. I remember that giant robot he had me fight. But back to case at hand.

All the technology that turned up had something to do with wireless interfacing. These gadgets allude me. Justin would know more about that stuff than me. So as we were trying to figure out his scheme Garrison Enterprises was attacked by 3 super powered terrorists. Shake, Rattle, and Roll. They killed 2 of three security officers and a host of other civilians. By the time my team arrived though to handle the situation Rattle and Roll were defused as it were by the security officer that did survive. (Garrison has a penchant for hiring people with extraordinary abilities and talents) When I finally met with the surviving officer (Julio Valdez aka Prodigy) he was blinded by Rattle. While Justin and the UM found shake and our sniper pacified him.

Not with a moment to breathe we had to fly to Fort Dix who was being attacked by 3 more assailants. Prodigy accompanied us since this mission had something to do with his employer. He I found out was a being who possessed magic abilities. Not so familiar with the sword and sorcery thing myself. Fort Dix also had to operatives themselves on staff Iron Wolf and Geist. They assisted us in the mission as well. Seems the three criminals Aegis, Flag and Rushmore were yet another Fright Distraction. We got a stroke of luck though when two of his underlings were discovered trying to escape the base. The villains were an ex-cop who goes by the name of Mithra and his partner, and possible girlfriend Isis. Seems that from my interrogation for both him and and Roll the one thing seemed to be consistent. Fright is going to free them. I don't believe it truthfully. He is such a selfish individual that when he gets what he wants he would have no need for them anymore would he ?

My theory was proven wrong when after a long late night session of brainstorming with my team about what his next move was, that a Con-Air was Hi-Jacked by Dr. Fright where he freed well over 20 Super Criminals. Amongst them, the villains we captured that worked for him. His evil knows no boundaries it seems. Earlier he taunted us on screen with the potential chance that he's selling his information to the highest bidders and then went on screen proving that he has some type of control of the satellite arrays he was going for by blowing up the Saint Louis Arch.

Azalea goes to investigate the plane crash of the Con-Air in Canada . We lost a lot of good men on that plane. A few powered operatives were there Uzziel , A08 and Seeker and escaped with their lives and one injury. Fright is so diabolical he decided to demostrate his hold over th sattelites again by shooting a Lazer Beam at a passenger plane. Thanks to Azaleas quick thinking she saved them.

We found out that his final destination was going to be Garrison Telecommunications Inc. where the laser signal amplifier was most likely going to be located. As Azalea was making her way back to rendevous with us, the rest of us with a welcome addition of previous member Sebastian Psyche went to investigate. As we discovered that there was more to GTI than meets the eye in the subterranean areas of the facility , Shinobi and Prodigy checked the facilties internal security which locked Prodigy out. Azalea arrived and decided to investigate the upstairs where she was attacked by Dr. Fright. One of our heaviest hitters down when we had to be diligent in trying to take him down. Unfortunately we got in each others way. It seems that he succeeded in his task. Among the darkness that was created by Credibles Night Grenades that somehow he was able to teleport 19 criminals in for less than 5 seconds and Teleport out. Though we destroyed his machine it was too late.

It's our duty to track down these criminals, find Dr. Fright and bring them to Justice. With the technology he has at his disposal he could be anywhere at anytime. Who knows what his next caper will be. We'll also have to be on the look out for Garrison. I don't know what his company is doing but from what I saw it can't be good.

Mission Log #2 : A D.E.B.T. to be Paid.

I wasn't present for this mission due to other priorities, but it was explained to me by my teammates. Renowned roboticist Domo Origato was recently found dead in his office at Roboto Industries. Justin Credible I found out was a close friend and former pupil of his. From his report he was finished attending the funeral. He accompanied the people in charge of Mr Origatos body to JFK Airport.

From his accounting the whole airport suddenly went into some type of electronic tailspin. Flights showing up as canceled. Lights flickering. He went upstairs to the control tower and tried to see if there was anything he could do. While upstairs there was an explosion on the air strip. One of the Planes blew up. Clearly an act of Terrorism.

He then went to investigate. During that time our newest recruit Beta was flying in from Russia to come to join the team. I doubt he expected to join them this way. Shinobi and Azalea went rendevous with Justin Credible. As Justin went to investigate the explosion he also found out that there was a plane filled with water with people trapped on board. He was then attacked from behind. By a speedster later discovered to be Terval. He was part of a mercenary group called The D.E.B.T. We don't know what the acronymn stands for. When Azalea and Shinobi arrived they fought three other members. Electron, Point Blank and Dragon Claw.

Beta finding out the situation on the ground joined in the fray and help defeat two of the three villians. Justin also help prevent the potential disaster of two planes from crashing head long into each other. Unfortunately some peole drowned on the plane that Dragon Claw attacked as well as some casualties on the air strip.

We later found out that it was a major distraction and the real cause for the mayhem was to distract people from the theft of Domo Origatos Body. For what purpose we don't know.

Three members of the D.E.B.T is imprisoned until we have more answers.

Mission Log #1: Denizen

Today was a very interesting mission. The day started out pretty much a regular day. As usual I woke up bright and early to do my morning jog around the base. Next was my usual power breakfast to start my day. Shortly after director Sinder called me in to show me a plane crash in Florida. Some strange looking giant creature was seen bursting out of the wreckage and then leaping away. Within minutes the same creature was seen in Canada doing damage in a small town. I gathered my team plus a few of the U.N Force Troops and we headed to Montreal to find out what manner of beast we were facing. How did it gt from Florida to Canada so quickly. Super Speed Maybe? Flight? Teleportation? We don't have much intel yet. Myself , Azalea, Justin and Shinobi are on deck and we are supposed to rendevous with someone that works at the Omega Base there.

When we arrive I immediately leave with UMS (Ultra Marines) to help me track the creature. I forget protocol because I'm too focused on the task at hand. A mistake I'm sure won't be seen as favorable. Shinobi speak to the Canadian Military and keep me abreast of what they've been dealing with . I send Azalea to do aerial recon to see if she can spot the creature. While Justin stays on ship to give me a strategic view of the situation.

Shinobi speaks with the Canadian military and meets with a super operative named V.I.C.E that works out of the Omega Base. They enter the forrest at the other end of where I am at. A few minutes later Azalea spots the creature we are searching for. She describes it as a giant grey Rhinoceros looking creature with hands and no horn. I give her orders to engage the beast. It unfortunately is not intelligent in nature and more and animal and strikes out violently at her. It hits her hard enough to knock her out. Not and easy feat for most. Next to me Azalea is one of the strongest and toughest operatives in my unit.

I immediately use my super speed ot try to get to Azaleas location. I find out that both Shinobi and V.I.C.E are closer to the creature. It's and interesting fight from what I'm told by Shinobi. He takes a few hits himself but his experienced fighting tactics along with V.I.C.E's super abilities render the creature unconscious. Justin attends to Azalea to make sure she is ok. From what I'm told the creature was incredibly strong. I'm sure it would have been an interesting fight had I not got there to late.

Shortly after the creature was apprehended a group from the Canadian Omega Base arrive. A Dr. William Sellers appears to say that the creature is an experiment that belongs to them and has somehow escaped. I'm very leary of people who do these types of experiments. Sure I was created by such experiments as were a number of superheroes. But it's always a chance that you aren't going to get such positive results each time.

The retrieve the beast they call The "Denizen". I thank V.I.C.E for his help and with our mission accomplished head back to America. Azaleas amazing healing ability and constitution allow her to recover quickly from the earlier attack by the beast. All in all a succesful mission.

Something tells me we have to be careful of other creatures like that which could exist if someone elses experiment gets loose and goes on a rampage.

Case log #1: Major Changes !!

This is my first Entry since I've been appointed. Some weeks ago I found out who I truly was. What made me who I am and what my purpose was. I'm a soldier and a super powered one at that. I met and worked with Rayn Peters, leader of the International Peacekeeping Organization known as U.N Force, and together we discovered we had a lot in common. So when I was appointed the new leader of U.N Force:Alpha Squad, I decided to do my best to honor what she did before. I've never led a team of heroes before now. I've always served my country but was mostly a singular operative. This case log will be both factual information and personal insight regarding all the missions and individuals that my "Company" of Super Heroes will face together.

I was appointed by the new director Michael Sinder to head Alpha. The previous was founded by director Nicholas Fury. The previous team consisted of Rayn (Leader) Sentintel (Co-Leader) Axiom (now a sworn enemy of U.N Force and all it's allies), Cypher,Brohlic(Now Delta Squad Trainer),Sebastian Psyche,Titan(deceased), Azalea,Hailstone and Vy'ggr. They were dubbed the "Alliance"

The Axiom Invasion unfortunately wiped out a number of operatives on the base and also saw the death of one of the Alliances members Titan, making Axiom not only one of the worlds most dangerous criminals but also the U.N. Forces first ever traitor. I can only hope that we don't have such unfortunate circumstances in our troop.

I welcome the challenge of what is to come and hope that I can live up to the position awarded me. As it stands my appointed team consists of these talented individuals.Myself, Azalea(who comes to me from the previous team),Justin Credible, Shinobi (a ninja master who has been on a couple of super teams in the past also my deputy leader). There are a few more recruits in place that have yet to arrive. We have a Russian super soldier by the name of Beta who will be joining the team as soon as his paperwork is finished. I also understand that Cypher will be rejoining the team after his systems are repaired. Rayn has taken a leave of absence for a time but in her stead is Quai Chi an extraterrastrial warrior .

Seems to me we have just as many challenges facing us as the first team. But we'll face them head on. We are here to protect the world
